My latest project is a video about the noise (literally and metaphorically) that surrounds us everywhere and the inner quiet we try to find while we make our aimless journey here on earth. The video is inspired on a work of Mario Merz titled At the still point of a turning world, which I saw at the Museum für Moderne Kunst in Frankfurt in 1999. Merz took this title from the T.S. Eliot poem of the same name that comments on the nature of time. Merz’ work prompted me to write the poem that forms the spiral of words that you can see in this video.
